Course focus

The selected Design VI work studies a monastery through courts, linked buildings and landscape. This description is grounded in the Spring 2026 Kyoto presentation, not a reconstruction of the full course curriculum.

The Sōtō Zen monastery study uses a terraced ensemble and covered connections to organize shared and quieter spaces. Plans, elevation and axonometric views describe an academic proposal; no built or operational results are claimed.
